# Providers

Creating a New Supplier

To activate the WhatsApp Business channel, you must register a provider. Just like a telephone carrier, a WhatsApp provider (either Meta or a Business Service Provider) will allow OMniLeads to connect to the official WhatsApp Business APIs securely and reliably.
